Parisian Expands Popular Charity Day Sale

Based upon the success of previous efforts and request of its participants, the Parisian store at Laurel Park Place in Livonia has expanded its fall Charity Day Sale fund-raiser. The annual event will be held Saturday, November 9 from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm. The Charity Day event provides local charitable organizations an opportunity to raise money for support of their activities.

“Last year, we helped raise over $1.5 million dollars for our communities during the Celebrate Education and Charity Sale events,” said Randy Dell, Parisian's Store Manager. Non-profit organizations earn money by selling $5 tickets to attend the event and retain 100% of the proceeds of the ticket sales. The ticket holders receive an additional 20% off all purchases made during the private sale and are eligible for hourly prize drawings, a $1000 grand prize shopping spree, free gift-wrapping and complimentary refreshments.

“The event is successful because of the tremendous support of the organizations involved,” Dell said. “It’s a wonderful way in which we can support the community and help the non-profits raise funds for their valuable activities and services. Our past participants asked to enhance our efforts so this year we have extended the sale hours to a full day and increased the grand prize shopping spree from $500 to $1000,” Dell said. “Those who felt our hours were too limited in the past can now spend more time shopping throughout the entire day to support their favorite charity. Participants will receive a terrific sale, and a fun-filled day of shopping with savings on all merchandise, including brands that are normally excluded from discounts,"""""""" he concluded.
